Rhythm Banbridge returns to the Leisure Centre on Sat. 12th Sept. at 8pm. Rhythm is committed to providing an alcohol free, fun, friendly and safe environment for 13 – 18 year olds as an alternative to existing venues within the Banbridge Council area. On 12th Sept. they'll be holding a disco with a "Back to School" theme. It'll cost you £3 to get in and doors open at 8pm. Check out www.rhythm.uk.com for more details.

There are a couple of events coming up that are worth flagging up once more... Don't forget Hope Dealers this coming Saturday - there's a great line-up featuring Mark Ferguson Band (see podcast on left), David Andre Ostby, Nlighten, Reedstar, Adrian Styer, and more. Check out www.megalife.org.uk for more info. Alternatively, if you want to stay in Banbridge this Saturday, buskers will be taking to the town from 12.00pm - 4.30pm for Banbridge Buskfest '09. Look out for the young people from Bannside collecting money for a trip to Uganda next Summer. Also, on 27th June Illuminate are having a Hawaiian theme BBQ in Hillhall Presbyterian from 7.30pm - 9.30pm. See www.illuminate.uk.net for more details.

If you've read this site much recently, you'll have realised I'm into free things :-) So here's another one: if you're not going to the Banbridge Buskfest evening concert (actually it's free as well - under 16s to be accompanied by an adult) on Saturday 20th June, why not head down to Craigavon Lakes Watersports Centre for a free community concert entitled "Hope Dealers". Bands featured include David Andre Ostby (Norway), Dublin Gospel Choir, Mark Ferguson Band, Big Street (Sweden), Reedstar, Adrian Styer (South Africa) and Words of Hope. All this takes place between 4.00pm and 10.00pm on Sat. 20th June - check out www.megalife.org.uk for more details.
